We had an afternoon full of slime in our classroom today. What a perfect hands-on reward for our students before spring break! It takes only 3 ingredients to make ooey-gooey stretchy slime.
5 oz. of Elmer’s color glue/ glitter glue/ white glue.
1/2 tbsp. of baking soda.
1 tbsp. of saline solution.
As a first-time slime maker, trial-and-error methods were key in making the perfect concoction of slime:
Too watery? Add more baking soda.
Too sticky? Add more saline solution.
Too dense? …looks like we have to start over.
Repeat until desired slime consistency is created.
My daughters LOVE to make slime. You are so sweet to do this for your students. 🙂

You are brave to make slime with your class! I bet they loved it. I made slime with the girls I was babysitting and it was a lot to support 3 slime makers!

Yes, they loved it! I am a co-teacher, so I was not alone. I don’t think it would have worked out well with 26 kids by myself!

You are my students’ dream teacher! They are seriously obsessed with slime right now. I’m not sure I’d have the energy to do that…

Luckily, I am a co-teacher, so two of us were facilitating the slime making! I would not recommend doing it alone! lol

That makes me feel better. I was feeling like a bit of a slacker.
